Conditional Simple - Spanish Verbs

We generally use the conditional simple of the indicative mood to talk about possible actions.

Regular Spanish Verbs

To conjugate the Conditional Simple of the Indicative Mood, you take the infinitive verb as found in the dictionary and add the appropriate personal endings. The regular verbs for the Conditional of the Indicative Mood are easy to conjugate and what's more, they all follow the same rule endings for all 3 groups.


TIP: Most Spanish verbs fall under the -ar group.

 

Irregular Spanish Verbs

The majority of the irregular verbs are conjugated as they are in the regular verbs above. There are a few exceptions to this rule.


-ar Group -er Group -ir Group

You - ías You - ías You - ías
He/she/it - ía He/She/it - ía He/She/it - ía
We - íamos We - íamos We - íamos

Condicional Simple - Verbos Españoles

Utilizamos el condicional simple del modo indicativo para hablar de acciones posibles.

Verbos Regulares

Para conjugar el condicional del modo indicativo cogemos el verbo en infinitivo como nos lo encontramos en el diccionario y le añadimos las terminaciones personales correspondientes. Los verbos regulares son fáciles de conjugar en el condicional del modo indicativo y lo que es más, todos utilizan las mismas terminaciones personales para los tres grupos de verbos (-ar, -er, -ir).

 

Nota: La mayoría de los verbos españoles pertenecen al grupo terminado en –ar.

 

Verbos Irregulares

La mayoría de los verbos irregulares se conjugan igual que los verbos regulares arriba mencionados. Hay unas cuantas excepciones.
